Police shoot-out in Tbilisi: officer wounded and one man in intensive care

A man and a police officer have been wounded at Tbilisiā€™s Kazbegi Street recently. According to currently existing information, police were called to the scene to settle an intense family dispute, but their attempts to restore peace were met by gunfire. As a result of the shoot-out, a man, Bidzina Muradashvili, who was allegedly abusing his wife was wounded, though managing to shoot at a police officer in the process. Both the wounded policeman and Bidzina Muradashvili were taken to Republican Hospital. Rustavi 2 reports.
